HOMEWORK DEPOT is open after school, from 3:00 until 6:00 pm,
Monday thru Friday; tutoring open until 10:00.
AND NOW - SATURDAY, 12:00 - 2:00!

Come with your friends and knock out your homework. Our coaches are here in case you need some quick assistance. Mom & Dad'll love the price!

Come study on Saturdays anytime from 12:00 to 2:00 - get your homework out of the way and have a great time for the rest of the weekend!

Our roving tutors help you if you get stumped with a problem. Enjoy a snack, and knock out your homework. Best of all, you will probably get a little ahead!

If you have time after school, you may like to hang with us at the MET. Hang-Around-N-Grow, that is. Join the HOMEWORK DEPOT! Study in our cozy coffee shop! Someone can help you if you get stuck on a problem!

We have relaxed, but structured afternoons at the MET to increase productivity. Get things done (your homework, for one)! Develop your talents. Perhaps build a new peer group. Also, enjoy a coke or a snack while you play chess, learn to play Chess or stump Harry on his knowledge of history. And even find out you can do Math!

PURPOSE of Homework Depot
It is amazing how group or team support makes you better...whether going to a gym, your church, or now to a homework support place! Come to the MET, right after school, or later. Our purpose is to provide tutoring, mentoring, and homework help to students who:

• need help or motivation in getting homework done, consistently, before it piles up
• are not involved in extracurricular activity every day
• may be home by themselves on some days after school
• could use encouragement toward developing their talents and new areas of interest.

Individual Tutoring
Do you know who usually calls the most for tutoring? "A" Students! Tutoring works. And we work especially hard to get the best teachers, tutors, and coaches in Houston!

Your child may benefit from individual or group tutoring to increase or accelerate depth of understanding of the material. Increase your GPA! We tutor all core subjects, even including college level courses.
Call anytime for an hour of tutoring. Most people choose to come at the same time every week, on the same day(s). We can usually accommodate your schedule, as well as your changing schedule.

Night Classes & Group Tutoring!
You can also get with friends and get two-tored two-gether for a discount at The MET! Two to four person study teams work well and the discount may help.

We also have night classes and summer school for most core subjects. Credit transfers to your school straight from Texas Tech, which offers the curriculum we use. Counselor signature is required. Additionally, the MET offers Custom SAT & TAKS Tutoring Classes.

Finding excellent tutors and the right tutor-student match is one of the most important things we do for the student.

Keep forgetting to call ahead? Just drop in! Math Lab Night**
Drop in from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. any Tuesday and an excellent tutor will help with homework, answer your questions - and help you know what questions to even ask! This is for Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Cal, and Calculus.

**Day of week is subject to change - check when you initially register.

Other Things You Can Do

• Specific homework assignments (complete Ch. 12)
• Extra-credit work through communication with teachers
• Play Chess, participate in YOGA, book club, community projects
• Study for SAT, Thea, TAKS
• Play Ping-Pong, Pool, Chess, Volleyball or relax after work is done

Initial Registration for Drop-Ins
You must call and register your name initially before you first attend the show-up (drop-in) sessions. After your name is on the list, you can come anytime. We'll be here!
